Hey there, fellow surfers and beachgoers! Ready for a wave check? Let's dive into the surf zone forecasts for today and tomorrow in various areas along the California coast.
Starting with Malibu and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a mix of west and south swells with surf heights ranging from 3 to 6 feet today. Better watch out for those high rip currents! Water temps are around 60 to 65 degrees, so it's not too chilly for a nice surf session.
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, a high surf advisory is in place with waves reaching 4 to 7 feet. The water's a bit cooler here, around 60 to 63 degrees. Keep an eye out for those rip currents and stay safe out there!
For Santa Barbara County Coast, watch out for a high rip current risk today with 3 to 5 feet surf height. The water temps are slightly warmer at 62 to 64 degrees. Tomorrow, the rip current risk lessens to moderate with 2 to 4 feet surf height. So, be cautious and enjoy the waves responsibly!
Lastly, San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches are looking at 5 to 8 feet surf height today. Water's a bit colder here, around 50 to 52 degrees, so wetsuits are a must. Keep an eye out for those west swells and be cautious of rip currents.
Remember, surf responsibly, watch out for each other, and always check the conditions before hitting the waves. Stay safe, have fun, and catch some rad waves!
