Hey there, beachgoers and surfers! Ready to catch some waves? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for the California coast!
Starting off with the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. The water temperature is a comfy 64 to 72 degrees. Tomorrow, expect a similar scene with mixed west swell and south swell, so get your boards ready!
Ventura County Beaches also have a moderate rip current risk today with 2 to 4 feet surf heights. Water temperatures are between 60 to 65 degrees, making it perfect for a refreshing dip. Tomorrow, the mix of west and south swell continues, so get out there and enjoy!
Moving on to Santa Barbara County, the southwestern and southeastern coasts have a low rip current risk today with 1 to 3 feet surf heights. The water temperature is a pleasant 63 to 65 degrees. Tomorrow, more of that laid-back west swell is on the menu, so soak up the sun and the surf!
For San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, expect bigger waves with 3 to 6 feet surf heights. The water may be a bit cooler at 52 to 54 degrees, but it's nothing hardcore surfers like you can't handle. West swell is the name of the game today and tomorrow, so get ready to ride those waves!
Remember, always keep an eye out for any rip currents, and most importantly, have a blast out there on the water!
