I sat down and spoke to the Founder of Gallivant Africa and Gallivant Radio, Miriro Matema.
Miriro and I discussed how she fell into travel journalism and her intention and goal behind starting Gallivant Africa. I then spoke to her about her vision behind Gallivant Radio and why she felt having a dedicated travel radio station was important for Africa and the travel media.
We talked about the challenges she has faced starting the station and where it stands now.
We also spoke about her transition into a TV host.
Miriro also talked to me about how she balances work and home life simultaneously.
