We are now in the heart of the season. As long as the American Athletic Conference can keep COVID at bay, the games are coming fast and furious. Dustin and Taylor look back at the split that Wichita State had this past weekend against Houston and Cincinnati while looking ahead to key matchups against Tulsa and SMU. If the Shockers are going to make their case as a contender for the conference title, this is a good week to do it. This week Mike Kennedy, the Voice of the Shockers, joins the crew to discuss what he is seeing from this squad after 10 games. On this episode we discuss:

  • The 2nd half dry spell against Houston
  • Standing toe-to-toe with the conference favorite in their gym
  • Exorcising some demons again Cincinnati
  • Ricky Council IV flashing some monster 2-way potential against the Bearcats
  • Mike in quarantine and having to watch on TV
  • The athleticism and confidence of Ricky Council IV
  • The maturity of Tyson Etienne
  • Needing to finish the end of games more decisively
  • Previewing matchups against Tulsa and SMU
  • They keys of transition and points off turnovers for WSU
