It’s not what happens to you. It’s how you choose to view it. That sounds nice, but when life throws a shitstorm at your noggin, it feels impossible.
Take that to macro scale, look at what’s happening in the world and it’s pretty easy to say - everything is going to hell in a hand basket and there’s no two ways about that.
I call bullshit.
To be clear - I’m not suggesting we smack on rose-colored lenses and pretend things aren't going sideways. They are. What I AM saying is it’s entirely how we PERCEIVE events. It’s WHERE we put our ATTENTION.
Like that time I got stranded without any means of communication for a day in a foreign city where my grasp of the language was minimal at best. Could have been a shit day, instead it turned into magic.
And that is what I talk about this week.
