In this week's episode we go disaster mode as we talkabout Roland Emmerich's 2004 film: 'The Day After Tomorrow'. WIth Jake Gyllehaal and Dennis Quaid playing a Father & Son split up by a new Ice Age, and a heap of other disastrous world-shattering events; we discuss their struggle, and the science behind the film.
We talk Jake Gyllenhaal's best film performances, discuss the possibility of freezing mid meal and take a question from Mr Potter. Ultimately, does the 20-year old film deserve a place on our DVD shelf? Listen to find out!
The day after tomorrow will inevitably become the day that tomorrow is before, and that day's day after tomorrow will become the original day after tomorrow's tomorrow. Yesterday's day after tomorrow is tomorrow until it's today at which point it will become the day after the day after yesterday. The cycle never ends, they'll always be a day after tomorrow and tomorrow will never truly arrive because a new one is always born. Just something to think about. Enjoy the pod!
