Welcome to Episode 36 of Talking Prisoner Cell Blok H. Hosts Ken Mulholland and Matt Batten sat down the talented Tottie Goldsmith who played inmate Gloria Payne in Prisoner. Tottie is an icon of Australian Tv and theatre and has appeared in many TV shows such as The Young Doctors, The Henderson Kids, GP, All together Now, Fire, Stingers, Blue Heelers, Neighbours The Secret life of Us, Underbelly and so many more. We spoke to Tottie about her life growing up and spoke about her Dad Brian Goldsmith the nightclub king of Australia. We touched on Totties school life, her famous Aunty Olivia Newton-John and what she thought about Grease and Tottie also lets us in on a little secret of hers about John Travolta. Tottie spoke briefly about her time on the Henderson Kids and how she got the part on Neighbours and what it was like to work with Margot Robbie and her thoughts on the recent axing of Neighbours. Tottie also appeared in I’m a Celebrity get me out of here and told us all about the show and what it was like to appear in a show like that. We then spoke about Tottie’s time on Prisoner and how she got the part of Gloria Payne and what her first day was like. Tottie has very fond memories of working with Annie Phelan who played Top Dog Myra Desmond. We discussed her band the Chantoozies, We also discussed the charity work Tottie does and her work with the Big Umbrella Group. Tottie was able to answer all fan questions.
