Arriving in the early 17th Century, the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) and her companions find themselves in the middle of a witchhunt. In the turmoil, King James (Alan Cumming) reveals himself and complicates matters further. But something else is wrong in the small village, and it is not what the King expects…
