There’s a NEW Star Wars Animated Series Coming! In an interview with Animation Magazine, Executive Producer of Star Wars: Rebels - Dave Filoni - teased a forthcoming announcement of a new animated series. While talking about the unique way that Lucasfilm and Disney tell animated stories, Filoni said: “We have a lot of different ways to convey stories and we choose the best mediums and we are showing no sign of slowing, so the end of one thing always means the beginning of another, and soon people will learn what that other is." The series finale of Star Wars: Rebels is coming this Monday, March 5th on Disney XD. https://geektyrant.com/news/star-wars-rebels-producer-dave-filoni-says-an-new-series-announcement-is-coming-soon?utm_content=buffer35623&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer How old is Han Solo? Del Rey Books, publisher of Star Wars Canon novels and comics, has released an updated timeline for the saga that includes the upcoming movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. The movie being released in the US this coming Memorial Day Weekend, takes place before the events of the novels Thrawn and A New Dawn, and the animated TV series, Star Wars: Rebels. Fans have expressed surprise regarding this, as it seems to suggest that the gap in age between our favorite scoundrel and princess, Han Solo and Princess Leia, is larger than previously thought. Canon sources have previously suggested the age difference was right around 10 years, and that could still be the case. But we’ll have to wait until the movie hits theaters on May 25, 2018! http://www.randomhousebooks.com/campaign/star-wars-timeline/ And finally, We’ve got an International Trailer and Poster for Solo: A Star Wars Story Comicbook.com has footage of the new Japanese subtitled trailer that remixes the footage we’ve already seen in the TV spots and Teaser Trailer released in February. However, the new poster offers a bit of a sentimental journey as we see the Millennium Falcon taking off, with Han and Chewie walking underneath it. The Japanese release of the film is June 29, 2018. http://comicbook.com/starwars/2018/02/28/solo-a-star-wars-story-international-trailer-poster/ Today in Star Wars History: On March 1, 1987 - "Return of the Jedi premiered on cable television for the first time.
