Meet Lisa I’m Lisa Ring, your candidate to represent the 1st Congressional District of Georgia in Washington, D.C. I am a mother of four, a military spouse, a military mom, and a former corrections officer... I am the new face of politics. We have all had enough of the partisan bickering and political egos dominating our public policies. Now is the time for us to stand up for the issues that impact our daily lives. We are tired of worrying if we will be able to afford health care, or if, after honorably serving our country, we will be employable. We are frustrated that we work full-time and still can’t pay our bills and that higher education is only within our reach if we indebt ourselves with crushing student loans. http://www.lisaringforcongress.com/ Neil deGrasse Tyson Neil deGrasse Tyson was born and raised in New York City where he was educated in the public schools clear through his graduation from the Bronx High School of Science. Tyson went on to earn his BA in Physics from Harvard and his Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Columbia. Tyson's professional research interests are broad but include star formation, exploding stars, dwarf galaxies, and the structure of our Milky Way.
