Money is such an important topic in the Bible that it is the main subject in nearly half of the parables that Jesus told. One in every seven verses in the New Testament deals with the subject of money (finances, giving, stewardship, etc.). The Bible offers more than two thousand verse’s on money. In fact, 15% of everything Jesus ever taught was on the topic of money and possessions. The question is “WHY?” Why is there such an emphasis on money in the scriptures? The answer is that there is a fundamental connection between our spiritual lives and how we think about and handle money. Listen as Pastor Jason says more about this and as shows us the four main purposes of money.
