This Is Paul Azizeh and welcome to another exciting episode of TL Sessions and Happy New Year to you all. This year marks our 2nd year anniversary for TL Sessions and we’re starting this year off with a bang with a special guest dj and his name is OMRVLS. DJ OMRVLS aka Omarvelous (Omar Stokes) hails out of Tacoma Washington. He started dj’ing in 1996 and his first love of music started in the late 70’s when his parents would have disco parties. It then transcended to blues, pop, hip hop, rock, and everything in between. “I just love music.” His dj career started out in the rave scene When there was a lull of raves in the northwest. He moved into the club scene and started playing hip hop and top 40. Throwing in a couple of wedding gigs here and there, exploring all of those different avenues and his love of all music can be heard throughout his sets. “I love all music but in my heart of hearts, my true love is electronic music. If I see people tapping their feet or nodding their head or going absolutely crazy to whatever I’m playing… That is my Zen.” You don’t want to miss his exclusive guest mix and that will be in the second hour. but for now let’s get into the mix with me on TL Sessions.
