On today’s episode of TMWYK, we’re talking about pet rocks. We learn about Gary Dahl, the freelance advertising copywriter from California who thought up the while joking around in a bar with friends. That joke earned Dahl more than a million bucks. Like the pet rock, other fads have made their mark on history as well as on the wallets of their creators. We’ll wrap up the first half of the show discussing some of these, like tamagotchis, pogs, and beanie babies.
And then, we're talking Pyramids. The pyramids are one the seven wonders of the world and have astounded tourists for millennia. Still to this day there are controversies over how they were built and why. One thing is for sure they are technically achievements.
