Although he doesn't consider himself a true standup, Fred Stoller has been a fixture of the American comedy scene since the late '70s, appearing on all the cable standup shows of the '80s as well as an HBO Young Comedians Special.
His long and varied career includes a year spent writing for Seinfeld (as chronicled in his Kindle Single My Seinfeld Year), and has spent the past three decades popping up in guest roles on shows and movies as diverse as Lois & Clark, Dumb & Dumber, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Bob's Burgers, and The Suite Life of Zach & Cody. You can read all about it in his book, Maybe We'll Have You Back: The Life of a Perennial Guest Star.
Liam hangs with Fred at The Grove in West Hollywood and talks about his early days commuting to the Improv from deep in the heart of Brooklyn, his mother's unusual reaction to his pursuit of standup, and his amazing career.
ALSO DON'T FORGET LIAM IS TAPING HIS NEXT ALBUM AT THE BELL HOUSE JANUARY 10th. Lineup includes Dave Hill and Colin Jost, and tix are only $8.00 if purchased in advance.
