Episode 19 and Penn & Pops are still havin' an absolute BLAST. This is one of their "cleanest" (don't worry, they still cuss) Episodes in a while. Guess that's what happens when you record before 8pm, right Pops? HA. This one is a doozie, friends.
After losing the Ohio State vs. Michigan bet, Penn is forced to wear Michigan gear the whole episode. During Around The World, they break down College Football, World Cup Soccer, The Top 25 NFL Players Under 25 and much more. Penn delivers his take on Women's rights as it pertains to sports, both collegiately and professionally. He's not very pleased after the Las Vegas Invitational basketball tournament held last weekend.
Penn drops a couple new segments on Pops. First, they play a game called "Who's your Fran-Choice." If you were starting an NFL Franchise today who would you pick? Pops had a tough time with a couple of 'em as Penn worked to slip him up. During "Keep him or Kick him," Penn names some professional players (i.e. James Harden and Aaron Rodgers) and Pops has to decide if he would Keep him or Kick him to the curb if he was the GM of their present day team.
Naptown News is full of hilarious takes regarding the Colts organization. Pops is fully convinced Jeff Saturday was sent in (by Irsay) not to coach, but to be a Private Investigator (yes, a snitch) for his organization. He may not be all the way wrong. They discuss the Pacers quick rise to a top 5 spot in the Eastern Conference. They both agree Rick Carlisle is a clear favorite for Coach of the Year.
During The Fine Print, they discuss the temperature or Ryan Day's seat at Ohio State and their North Carolina Tar Heels Men's Basketball slow start to the season. They've dropped a couple in a row and the fellas don't know if they'r bored, fatigued or just not that good yet. This episode is jam packed with sports, laughs and stupidity.
