See there is this giant companies, all of them have copyrights of the name, tag line they use for the product or service. So we all are aware about this thing.
Now if I am a Radio jockey and I host a show daily. I am not a company. But being individual I have provide radio service. Now you all remember vidya balan on radio in movie lage raho munna bhai. So she has this unique thing , when she goes on air she says “ Good morning Mumbai” . it is not a big deal to say good morning. But the way she says and this phrase that she uses on radio, Good morning Mumbai. So this is her identity. She can copyright this phrase. So no one can use this in any way to earn money from it. Or the copyright owner has right to take legal action.
So phrases copyright has many advantages. And for people who are well known personality or in a process to build their own brand and name, they must copyright this kind of phrases or names.
