Chris Paige is a licensed clinical social worker and healthcare educator who learned about akathisia the hard way. He suffered from akathisia for about three years. The experience was traumatic and drove him almost to the point of committing suicide. Today, he is working to educate doctors and to sponsor research to discover better treatments for akathisia. Chris Paige is the founder of the Institute for Akathisia Research and Prevention.
