What's the first thought that comes to your mind when you hear the word feminism?
For some it's a battle cry, for some, it's home, for some, it's a dirty word.
Whatever thoughts come to mind it can be hard at times to believe that in 2024 we still have to fight for equality between the sexes - and at times it can be easy to become disheartened.
But there is so much reason to hope!! Yes, there is so much more to do - but the battle looks different than it used and the future is bright!
Joining me for today's conversation are Sylvia Morrison and Lisa Tuthill.
Sylvia Morrison is an Author, Speaker, Humanitarian, and Coach. Sylvia is the Founder of Links Across Borders, a non-profit organization that co-creates libraries and facilitates educational programs for children in Ghana, West Africa. Links Across Borders has built 8 libraries so far, and supplied over 70,000 books and other educational resources to communities in Ghana.
Lisa Tuthill - Lisa is a mental health therapist and 5 years as a Spiritual Coach. Over the past five years, her focus has shifted to working primarily with highly sensitive individuals. Her approach involves guiding them in understanding their own nervous system, navigating challenges such as overwhelm, people-pleasing, and perfectionism, and ultimately empowering them to thrive in their unique experiences.
