Jessica Lauren Walton is a communications strategist and writer in the U.S. defense industry.
She grew up in an orthodox Jewish community in Maryland and immigrated to Israel as a
teenager. She has a bachelors in English literature and a masters degree in security intelligence.
While working in the Israeli security community, she specialized in asymmetric warfare,
psychological operations, and national security policy. She served in the Israeli military and
worked in private security, including a post in Transylvania. She returned to the Washington,
D.C. area in 2017 and now works in the U.S. defense industrial base. She is also involved with
the Women in Film and Video network in D.C. Most recently, she completed her memoir about her experience as an American woman in the Israeli security community. No matter the medium, her passion is storytelling in the security world.
