Spencer Martin has a long and storied career behind the wheel, piloting everything from the stunning Ferrari 250LM in the mid ‘60s to a near-stock-standard Volvo 242 GT which Martin and David McKay raced in the 1979 Bathurst 1000 – ‘that bloody Volvo!’ as some of the other drivers dubbed it.
