If you’re in any of the Amazon Facebook groups, such as The Australian Seller and End Game Network or if you’ve been to any Amazon meetups and conferences in Australia, you’ll have seen Andy Akroyd contributing positively and cheerfully.

Andy has an amazing life story, growing up in Zimbabwe, before becoming a soldier in the civil war for 10 years. After the war, he moved to South Africa and established a farm with a breeding program for primates and cheetahs.

With a strong interest in caring for animals, wildlife and sustainability, he developed products in the fishing space which he now sells very successfully on Amazon.

Today he talks to us about his business, patent disputes and how he’s overcome many obstacles to develop a thriving ecommerce business.

I’m speaking in Sydney at a free World First event on the 1st of August. If you’d like to register for free, head over to www.theaustralianseller.com/worldfirst

And in October, Meghla, Marg and Kevin are holding the next edition of the India Sourcing Trip, so head over to www.indiasourcingtrip.com to learn more.

…and Jamie and Michael from End Game Network are holding the Southern Seller Fest again this year in Singapore on the 19th and 20th of November. Just head over to www.southernsellerfest.com to find out more – tickets start from $149, and a return flight from Australia through Jetstar is only going to set you back just over $500.

Don’t forget to join my Facebook Group! Head over to www.theaustralianseller.com/facebook

And I am offering private coaching so please head over to www.theaustralianseller.com/chris to book an hour session with me to make sure you’re heading in the right direction!

If you own or work for a consumer products brand and need help setting up or running your Amazon business including managing your Sponsored Advertising, feel free to get in touch with me – I run an Australian based Amazon Account Management Consultancy agency, helping private label sellers as well as household brands in Australia and internationally, like No Pong, Lucent Globe and TafToys just to name a few….
