In this minisode of The Authentic Creative: Expanding Our Capacity to Feel Good, I’m sharing a deeply personal and transformative retreat experience I just had with a group of incredible, spiritual, entrepreneurial women at our Airbnb in Mount Hood Village. From spontaneous lake plunges to heartfelt breathwork, the weekend was filled with laughter, vulnerability, and connection. I realized again just how powerful it is to gather with like-minded souls who coach, support, and celebrate each other’s growth in such a genuine, unscripted way.
Reflecting on the time we spent together, I felt reminded that while goals and strategies are important, what truly matters is having an open heart. This experience reinforced the importance of friendship and love, the things that really light us up. So, my invitation to you is to pause and connect with the people you love who are right in front of you. Tell them what they mean to you, even if it feels vulnerable. That’s where the magic lies.
