Join me in this episode of the podcast as we delve into the world of procrastination. From its universal grip on human behavior to the intricate psychological and cognitive mechanisms at play, I talk about why we procrastinate and how it impacts various aspects of our lives.

In my research I discovered a link between procrastination and emotional regulation, executive functioning, and perfectionism. I also learnt different styles of procrastination and how they manifest in our daily lives. In case you already didn't know, there are serious detrimental effects of chronic procrastination on mental health, productivity, and overall well-being.

But fear not! We won't just dwell on the problem—I also touch briefly on practical strategies and interventions backed by research to help us overcome procrastination, for example cognitive-behavioral techniques, implementation intention and setting SMART goals.

It is my hope that this episode will stimulate the thoughts and actions we need to engage with, to break free from procrastination's grasp and reclaim control of our time and productivity. Tune in and enjoy listening!.

Please if this podcast has been beneficial to you in anyway, be sure to share with your family and friends.
