Creator of the wellness app Elevate, life coach, bestselling author, yoga & meditation expert Faith Hunter, joins the podcast this week. We dive right into her beautiful grit story, which is nothing short of moving and compelling to say the very least. Faith has persevered through many tough situations, from family HIV diagnoses, living in New York City during 9/11, loss and transitioning careers. She shares how she discovered kundalini yoga, journaling and therapy and how that has evolved over the years. Faith also touches on Black Lives Matter and how the idea of therapy is becoming more accepted within the black community and the importance of women of color in this space. In the episode, Faith shares her journey as a businesswoman, navigating the pandemic as a yoga studio owner and simultaneously writing a book. We discuss her inner child, how she found her way back to God, love and heartbreak. Listen to hear each turn that led her full circle to where she is now. Life has thrown many obstacles at Faith. Hearing her story and how she was able to navigate through each chapter, and the self-discovery that came along with it is inspiring. I am thrilled for you to hear her beautiful grit and the power of perseverance.
