Julia Carreon is a strategic adviser whose specialty is in Gen Z, Wealth Tech & Digital Transformation. Her relentless focus on execution has served her and her teams well. She has led 400+ person teams at a Fortune 50 company where she was responsible for everything from strategy to launch of end-to-end digital initiatives for clients and employees. Her team was among the first to launch a mobile app for financial advisors to use with clients while out of the office. She co-authored the Future of Advice strategy, which predicted many aspects of the current digital-advice/hybrid model that is now ubiquitous. More recently she authored the concept of #GenZDisruption, which outlines why the impending turnover of generations will accelerate disruption in all sectors. Prior to financial services, Julia worked at an early social media site for CIOs that was a division of Cambridge Technology Partners. Julia started her career as a journalist. She is an ardent supporter of women, serving as the Executive Director of the Women’s Team Member Network for Central Texas. She also has a passion for next-generation talent. Her blog is followed by executives in Canada, the U.S. and U.K. and her three #GenZ-aged boys are an inspiration for her writing on the explosive growth of Esports, which she believes will change consumer behavior for all sectors.
