Shoutout to our special guest @KennEdwinTV Good Burger is a 1997 American teen comedy film directed by Brian Robbins, written by Dan Schneider with Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, and starring Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, and Abe Vigoda. It is based on the comedy sketch of the same name on the Nickelodeon series All That, with Mitchell reprising his role. The story follows a high school student who takes a job at a fast-food restaurant called Good Burger in order to pay off the damages he made to his teacher's car. The film was produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Tollin/Robbins Productions, and was filmed from March to April 1997. It was released worldwide on July 25 of the same year by Paramount Pictures. When Mondo Burger sets up across the street, sneaky Dexter and burger-obsessed Ed realise they need to fight to keep their fast food joint going. Their new secret sauce might be the answer, but not if Mondo can grab it. BlackBusters is a podcast focused on reviewing, celebrating, re-living and critiquing Black film. From the movies we all know and love to those hidden gems, there is no movie too big or small to be praised or roasted. Join our hosts Director/Comedian/Actor @biggjah and movie/podcast connoisseur Tony Price as they explore the legacy, impact and influence of Black cinema. Learn more about your ad choices.
