Palak Dave is the Founder and CEO of Embiria {experience}, a speaker, investor and author of the newly released book Beautiful Everydays: A Guide to Living in the Here and Now.

Formerly an award-winning marketer with senior-level positions at companies including the Toronto International Film Festival and Indigo Books and Music Inc., Palak embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in 2017, founding Embiria – a movement and membership community designed to help people slow down and savor life.

Through Embiria, she inspires a shift away from digital distractions toward embracing in-person experiences, gatherings and the beauty of living life in the present moment.

With having hosted over 350 curated events, including intimate experiences for brands such as Google, Nespresso and Bumble, Palak champions intentional living, urging you to prioritize real-life experiences and connection over digital noise.

In this episode, we chat about the moment her inner voice started telling her that she was meant for more and the idea that came to her after lots of self-reflection: which was to bring women together to cultivate friendships and community, how she approached creating unique events and experiences and what played a role in the incredible momentum she built in year one with 50 events, her best tips and techniques for being an amazing host who makes every attendee feel comfortable and seen, AND ensures everyone leaves with a new connection, why she’s so passionate about authentic in-person connection, her thoughts on social media platforms, and what we can all be doing to have a better relationship with these platforms, and so much more!
