Well guys if you are currently multi - tasking this is your warning you may become completed distracted and absorbed in this episode. I recently sat down with Meg Reilly from the Magenta Project. An inspiring story, about a collective of passionate people committed to developing pathways and generating opportunities for more equity and inclusion in sailing, leading with gender.

Meg shares how she and others work with a wide range of individuals and organisations to make a positive and progressive impact on the sport, from grassroots initiatives to partnerships with international events and leagues.

Established by the sailors of the successful campaign of Team SCA in the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-2015, Meg shares the challenges and how the concept was embraced with early uptake of sponsors blind spot.

The sporting side of boating has similar goals and big dream like me, that include increased participation, and I loved hearing their strategies of how they are also striving to reach gender parity in sport — equal pay and equal play.

Boating is not just for the rich and famous as I say every episode. And today I am spending time with the person and the front of helm who is carving up swell and paving the sandy pathways for more diversity and inclusion across the board.

TMP have just release a great article that shares their success.
