It's easy to find hate about the YA genre. From protesting that these books aren't valuable to keeping adults from reading YA, it seems there are so many reasons people hate on YA. But is the hate deserved? We think not.

Megan and Marissa discuss all the most popular reasons cited for people to hate YA – and we argue about which points are valid (lack of diversity, etc.) and which ones are not (lack of literary value, for one).

We begin as always by talking about our most recent reads and, of course, finish off by mentioning upcoming reads and drawing our next topic from our book jar.
