Earlier this year, world champion boxer and actor Kali Reis made history by becoming one of the first Indigenous actresses to be nominated for an Emmy for her role as Evangeline Navarro in HBO’s “True Detective: Night Country.” Kali joins the Bright Side to discuss her journey from athlete to actor, telling stories that matter and how she’s using her platform to be a mouthpiece for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls movement.
