Avellina Balestri is the author of the upcoming book Gone for a Soldier and her stories, poems, and essays have been featured in over thirty print and online publications. Avellina is also Editor in Chief of Fellowship & Fairydust, a literary magazine inspiring faith and creativity and exploring the arts through a spiritual lens.


In this episode, we discuss the merits of a holistic classical education and the history of Catholic martyrs and recusant Catholics in England. We also talk about some of the books that Avellina has authored, including her upcoming book called Gone for a Soldier that will be released later this year, and is the first book in a trilogy.
