On today’s episode of The Classi Ladi Corner podcast, your host Stephanie sits down and sips with Ciara Arrington of Never Drnk Alone. Ciara is a registered bartender and self-appointed Liquid Therapist who started her business in Houston, Texas, because she was laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The idea of Never Drnk Alone came to her in a dream and she threw herself into creating beautiful, delicious cocktails and teaching others how to make cocktails with ingredients and equipment available at home. She also gives her recipe for a simple sugar syrup which you can use to elevate a basic three-ingredient cocktail into something really special.
Next, the ladies sit down and make two delicious cocktails together, with step-by-step instructions that you can follow along at home. Ciara outlines two cocktail making techniques, layering and muddling, that you can use to kick any drink up a notch. The two cocktails Ciara and Stephanie make use the same base ingredients in different ways, making two unique and delicious beverages. As they sip on their homemade cocktails, Ciara also shares some other great insider bartender knowledge, such as the difference between prosecco and champagne.
