We’ve turned intuition into a buzzword—flattened it into a slogan, a gut feeling, or a vague whisper we don’t always know how to hear. But what if intuition is so much more? What if it's one of the most powerful tools we have—and we’ve just forgotten how to use it? In this episode, I’m joined by Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir , Icelandic thought leader, filmmaker, and author of InnSæi: Icelandic Wisdom for Turbulent Times . Hrund has spent over 20 years studying and teaching the science and art of intuition through her TED Talk, Netflix documentary (InnSæi: The Power of Intuition), and global work on leadership, innovation, and inner knowing. Together, we explore what intuition really is (hint: not woo-woo), how to cultivate it in a culture obsessed with logic and overthinking, and why your ability to listen to yourself might be the most essential skill you can develop. In This Episode, We Cover: ✅ Why we’ve misunderstood intuition—and how to reclaim it ✅ Practical ways to strengthen your intuitive muscle ✅ What Icelandic wisdom teaches us about inner knowing ✅ How to use intuition during uncertainty and decision-making ✅ Why trusting yourself is an act of rebellion (and power) Intuition isn’t magic—it’s a deep, internal guidance system that already exists inside you. The question is: are you listening? In this message, pastor Ethan Bricker discusses why all Christians have been called royal priests and what the priesthood of all believers means for us in our modern-day lives. To be a priest first and foremost means to be a first follower - someone who is willing to follow a leader before anyone else. Contrary to our post-modern mindsets, FOLLOWING IS LEADING. God has called us to approach him, become united with Him by His Son, and mind the gap between the lost and our Father who finds. Today, Ethan Bricker spoke to us about the importance of waiting on the Lord. He explores Isaiah 40, Psalm 23, and Matthew 11, and how they all point to the solution to our weary hearts. Waiting is practicing trust and rest at the same time. It's an exercise of Shabbat and Faith working together at the same time in trust that God will renew the strength we need. As Ethan says, "Waiting is love on the way." it is when we anticipate the love of God seeking us out and transforming our weariness into glad strength. Conflict within the church is inevitable. What's important is that we gain the skills we need to love each other through the conflict we are experiencing and seek to understand those we call our Church Family. Difficult people aren't hard to find, compassionate people are. If that's the case, it's crucial that every Christian in a church context works to build resilient compassion through the art of crucial conversations.
