Welcome to the Cook ‘N‘ Goals show, today we talk to Dr Shane Hungtington OAM, CEO of Little Big Steps (a kids cancer charity), radio host on Triple RRR in Melbourne (Einstein agogo), Physicist and communication teacher. Shane has had a long and fruitful career in academia and science but also many other sectors including business, strategy development and consultation. His background is in optical fiber technology which translates to - transmitting data using light from one location to another, during his PhD he also built a microscope from scratch to be able to see these processes occur. We discuss his career journey, love for space, how to communicate better as a scientist, and his pivot to the charity sector.
