Jeremy Booth built a successful career as a digital illustrator, working with some of the biggest brands in the world. He also made his personal artworks available to collectors through NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and created an NFT series focused on a Western art theme featuring landscapes and cowboys, falling in love with the subject and tradition of Western art in the process.
Jeremy made a bold decision to not only create digital art but to become a fine art painter as well, focusing on the Western motif for this new chapter in his career. He captures the essence of the Wild West with daring minimalism in his paintings. He aims to blend classic themes with a contemporary approach, using vibrant colours, strong contrasts and simple shapes to offer a fresh perspective on Western art.
On this episode, host Angela de Burger chats with Jeremy about how he stays flexible to express his creativity in new ways, what captured his imagination about western landscapes and cowboy culture, and “The New West” - his first solo fine art exhibition.
