Dr. Whyte discusses how mobile apps, the internet, and multimedia have empowered patients to take control of their own health. In addition, he describes many of the latest resources that WebMD provides for patients in a variety of formats, including apps, video, audio, and print publications. Lastly, Dr. Whyte provides advice for physicians and other healthcare workers looking to become more involved in medical media.
