In 1994, after many years of hibernation, Peter Criss returns with a new band simply named Criss.

The band drops an EP and an LP and subsequently goes on tour. What would have happened without the Kiss reunion? It's hard to say...

In what's either their last classic or first non-classic record, Thin Lizzy, buttressed by Guitar Legend Gary Moore, drop Black Rose. It's the only record Moore played on. Check it out with Nik and Duncan. www.facebook.com/dmapodcast https://duncan-evans.bandcamp.com/ https://www.discogs.com/seller/battra13/profile…

This week Nik and Duncan decided to do a look in on Head by the Monkees. Lots of people my age don't recall that this movie even existed. But ask yourself what would happen if Jack Nicholson, Carole King, and The Monkees were all in a room together? Then you can add in Stephen Stills for fun! www.facebook.com/dmapodcast https://duncan-evans.bandcamp.com/ https://www.discogs.com/seller/battra13/profile…

This one might not be quite old enough to fit inside of our normal boxes, but in a fit of pique, it seemed like the right thing to do. Nik and Duncan take on the alternate world Judas Priest record written solely by KK Downing. Let's see if it's a spin it or bin it! www.facebook.com/dmapodcast

In the early 80's after Glenn Hughes had left Deep Purple and before he joined Black Sabbath, he did a forgotten solo record and then this collab with Pat Thralls. We discussed this and it might be true, but we might be stretching our mandate here with this episode, but largely this album, though it had a giant splash, has kind of been left in the ruins of the years. In 2005, the core of Guns'n'Roses were joined by one of rock's greatest voices, Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots. Join Nik and Duncan as we see what happened with this record. or .... The Racketeers by Mad For the Racket? It doesn't really appear that anybody knows what this band and album are called. Anyway, Duff McKagan of Guns'n'Roses joins with Wayne Kramer of MC5, Brian James of The Damned, and Stewart Copeland of the Police.....??? Check it all out right? www.bandcamp.com/devansmusic www.facebook.com/dmapodcast https://www.discogs.com/seller/battra13/profile…

Well, after the Revenge Era Kiss lineup broke up, Eric Singer decided to get with his old buddy, Bruce Kulick, and his new buddy John Corabi, and somehow all three of them's newest buddy, Karl Cochrane. Sadly, we couldn't find the one with Karl, so we did this live record instead. Enjoy! In 1986, Terry Glaze was given a two week notice from Pantera. Instead of diffusing the tensions in the band, he just walked away. In time, Phil Anselmo fills his shoes and finishes the album they had been recording. It was called Power Metal. This week Nik and Duncan talk it out.

In 1997, 18 months after having dropped the double LP, Load, Metallica did the unthinkable, they dropped a second double LP entitled Reload. Though these albums were intended to be a single project, they eventually became two. Join Nik and Duncan as they dig into the songs from this record that don't really get a whole lot of attention.…

Jim Morrison died on July 3rd, 1971. What many fans of the band didn't know is that at the time, the rest of the band were Stateside working on what was going to be the follow up to L.A. Woman in the hopes that Jim would return from Paris to complete it. He never did and the rest of the band carried on without him, at first all together, and later separate. Here Nik and Duncan take in the last time the Doors entered into a studio in order to record an album. (An American Prayer features Jim's vocals...so it doesn't count.) Should we spin it or bin it? It was 2005 and everybody was doing it, so Ozzy did it too, but he did it with serious backup. Ozzy enlists the allstar band of Mike Bordin of Faith No More on the drums. Chris Wyse of The Cult and later Ace Frehley on bass. What does he do about a six string gunslinger? He gets Jerry MF Cantrell of Alice In Chains. Now that he has this all star band to kill all all star bands does he set about writing an album the define his career and crush all comers? No. He does a covers record.…
