7% of caregivers indicate 'cancer' as the primary reason, according to a publication in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. In 2022, an estimated 1.9 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed. And At least 2.8 million Americans were providing care to an adult family member or friend because of a primary cancer diagnosis.
