Season 2 of The Dream Dealer's Daughter explores what defines individuality, the Codes of Existence, and the depths of the subconscious mind.

Show description:

For as long as Nargus can remember, she has felt lost from herself and the world, but she’s convinced a body transplant will solve all her problems. She just wants what everyone else has, a chance at a physical life in the physical world.

But second-hand bodies aren’t cheap. Even though her adoptive father sells bodies for a living, Nargus must earn her physical life. To fund her transplant, Nargus works for her father as a Dreamer, erasing memories and preparing Minds for time travel. Each year on her so-called birthday, provided she’s earned it, Nargus’ father provides her a body transplant. And each year, it mysteriously fails. Days before her next transplant, Nargus receives a cryptic message by way of a dream: her past is not what it seems. She was not saved by Largo, the Dream Dealer. Nargus was stolen. Her entire ‘life’, Nargus has been so busy surviving, desperate to secure a physical future, that she hasn’t had the privilege of focusing on the past. But according to this message, somewhere deep in time, are answers to the questions she’s only dared ask herself in secret: why does her memory begin the day she was adopted, where does she come from, and why does she feel like a stranger in her own mind?

Nargus might not have blood or skin, but she’s determined to live. The Dream Dealer’s Daughter explores dimensional time travel, the subconscious universe, and how someone without a body can still feel, hear, and see the physical world.
