Manage episode 441701348 series 3410813
Hot off the heels of a cracking first episode of Season 6, we're back this week with our new Season's second episode!
Since the (relative) return to normality in a post-Covid world, the Events industry has largely gone back to business as usual.
But most Events, our latest guests points out, offer limited value to attendees and are far too mono-focused on supplier or sponsor benefit.
But Juliette Devillard, and her company 'Climate Connection' is leading the way in offering attendee-focused Events. Moving away from dull, lengthy pitches and that "I could've stayed at home and watched this on Zoom" feeling. Climate Connection has grown to be the largest Event organiser for Climate professionals.
So if you work in Marketing or Events, and want to learn how to create Events that attendees will actually want to attend (and talk about!), don't miss this episode!
We were delighted to have Juliette join us and talk about:
π
ββοΈ Starting life as a climate-change denier(!)
π Work experience with the United Nations.
π Creating Events designed for humans.
π¬ The challenges facing Climate Deep Tech.
π€« The 12 Minute Speech Rule.
... and much more! β¨
This was a fantastic episode, not just full of stories ranging from creating compelling narratives to First of a Kind Funding (FOAK), but also practical tips for how to run great-quality, stand-out Events. We hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did! π
