This episode we explore how Genial.ly stacks up as a tool to deepen learning experience for students (young and old). Genial.ly is a platform/app for creating visual assets a little like Canva. Where it goes one step further is its ability to be interactive.
So we do the usual thing for this podcast, and compare it to AGES and SAMR as we explore the value that Genial.ly can bring to education and communication.
Sophie Debut (also sometimes known as Sophie le Dorner) is an educational thought leader and innovator in the field of metacognition and learning. Sophie describes herself very accurately as:
"An enthusiast and a passionate learner. I bring a combination of curiosity with heap of positive energy. I am a cross between Alice in Wonderland and the Energy Bunny (Duracel). I bring light to multiple learning pathways that boost the learning."
"Taking human pedagogical approaches necessary for today's world and combining it with neuroscience, positive psychology, psychology of awareness and combining it with a brain-based communication approach inspired me to create an innovative concept. The Agility of Mind that could bridge home, school, work and online learning."
