Embodied public speaking coach Daniel joins me to talk about being a barrister, 5R, meditation, relational presence, why we get nervous, negativity bias, self-reassurance, eye contact, polyvagal theory, vulnerability, TED, and some other great top tips.

A useful one for anyone who needs to public speak.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Daniel Kingsley studied philosophy, and went on to be a barrister, practising law for 15 years. He wandered into embodied and meditative practices as a way of dealing with the stress of being a lawyer, but eventually found he was more interested in understanding himself and others than in winning legal battles in court. In 2011, he discovered the Relational Presence method for teaching public speaking and realised that by combining it with embodiment, it could be considerably more powerful and effective as a way of helping people to feel truly confident connecting with audiences and getting their message across. He founded Presence Training in 2012 and hasn't looked back. He now coaches people at all levels in authentic public speaking and leadership and has worked with thousands of individuals in the past 12 years. Organisational clients have included the MOD, NBC Universal and Surrey Cricket club. He loves supporting people to make friends with who they are and to engage with the world with courage, warmth and authenticity.

He is a qualified cranio-sacral therapist and has trained with a variety of teachers including Lee Glickstein, Doreen Hamilton, Adam Bradpiece and (of course) completed the Integration Training EFC with Mark Walsh, Francis Briars and others in 2015. -----------------------------------------------------------------
