This week on the Empire Boxing Podcast retired Pro Boxer and Langley B.C. native, Sarah Pucek-Mehuys, joins host Coach J and special co-host Anna Kerevan from Empire Boxing. Sarah was the first woman to win the British Commonwealth Championship and held the title from 2016-2018. She was also Canadian Champion from 2012-2018 and NABF Champion from 2017-2018. Sarah reached Number 7 in the world in the WBC rankings and hung up her gloves in 2018 with a record of 8-3-1 including a KO in her pro-debut. Sarah is now a mom and looks back fondly on boxing and the self confidence it gave her and hopes to coach kids boxing one day and pass on some of that knowledge to the next generation.
