Hollywood’s full of old franchises that are probably best left alone. Jurassic Park, a series that probably should have ended after the first installment, ended up with two sequels and one “legacy-quel”/reboot/whatever-the-hell-you-call-it. Most people figured that Jurassic World would be a huge failure, especially after that first trailer came out showing Chris Pratt riding on a motorcycle alongside raptors – But surprise! It turns out that in context that scene, and the subsequent movie, was pretty damn good. Now flash forward a year, and we’ve got news of even more Jurassic sequels, two to be exact. Is Hollywood getting ready to give us another group of films among the same caliber as the mediocre to bad Jurassic Park 2 & 3? Or do they have a potential billion dollar franchise in the works?

I’m your host, David Snider, and joining me as we come up with ways to make superior Jurassic sequels are fellow nerds and genetic gene splicers Jonathan Hinckley, Cody Eastlick, and Ryan Caldwell.

Topics of discussion in this episode include Italy getting all Touchy-Feely; Ryan sheds a tear at a truly magical piece of filmmaking; and finally, Oliver Stone tries to understand the world of hackers with the help of some trusty 90s movie tropes.
