Apologies Trek-Cast fans, we were caught in a temporal holiday wake after Thanksgiving, but we’re back! And this time we’re taking on everyone’s favorite cybernetic zombies, The Borg. After wading through the nonsense of The Nexus and Picard’s boring Victorian-era fantasies, we’ve finally arrived at the film that is universally regarded as the best of the Next Generation movies, Star Trek: First Contact.
I’m your host and Captain, David Snider, and joining me as we make sure our emotion chips are deactivated is Lt. Commander Chad Griner and Ensign Nick Goathoof.
Topics of discussion in this episode include Ensign Goathoof’s inappropriate advances towards the Enterprise’s Chief Medical Officer; Data finally gets to activate his long dormant sex protocols; and finally, we answer the age old question of how exactly people go to the bathroom in Star Trek.
