On this week's podcast with Luke Jordan, it’s another double venture as we have around the ground voice reports from last weekend, while former St. Patrick’s Athletic, and Shamrock Rovers goalkeeper Barry Murphy and Tom O’Connor join Luke in the second part of the show to dissect the action.
For the Premier Division action, we hear from extratime.com’s Pat O’Connor who was at Dalymount Park to witness a 1-1 draw between Bohemians and Dundalk, while Donal Ryan caught up with Declan Boyle after Sligo Rovers 2-1 win against Connaught rivals Galway United.
Macdara Ferris was present at the Women’s Premier Division clash between Shamrock Rovers and Cork City as both sides played out a 1-1. Macdara caught up with Rovers manager Collie O’Neill post match to get his thoughts.
On the second part of the show, Barry, Tom, and Luke discuss the action from the weekend.
Barry gives his thoughts on Shamrock Rovers, St Pats, and Shelbourne’s first leg clashes in Europe.
The lads also discuss the latest transfer news, the European performances compared to ten years ago, Tim Clancy’s comment on wages in the Premier Division, and of course goal keeping in the League of Ireland this season.
