The Divisio Assassinorum was a shadowy organisation of assassin temples, part of the Emperor's own household and sent on missions where the resources of the Imperial Army, Astartes, or any of the myriad armed wings of the Imperium might be too heavy handed, and the subtlety of a knife in the back is more rewarding than all out drop pod assault.
