Why does the Torah start with creation? What about this is relevant to us, back then and now?
Does it matter to us that God created the world in 6 days? Is it important to know that on the first day, He created light and darkness, and on the 6, He created man? Why not just start with the creation of man and call it a day?
Furthermore, as a believer in God and His Torah, is it possible to believe in the scientific version of creation? Are divine creation and scientific evolution mutually exclusive?
Join my father and me as we delve into these questions and bring up all kinds of thoughts, ideas, and conversations that can bring more meaning and understanding to our lives.
