Richard welcomes back Dr David Lupini who is a GP partner and GPwSI in dermatology. During the episode we discuss the assessment of skin lesions. Dr Lupini discus's how he started to assess skin lesions in primary care without the use of a dermatoscope. We apply the assessment to 3 cases including melanoma , squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. Within the cases we discuss red flags in skin lesions and the correct referral pathway for these patients.
Please feel free to leave us comments and rate the podcast. We are on twitter @FCPParamedicpod.
As always special thanks to Scott and Martin for your help and Dr Lupini for giving up your time to record the episode.
