It is exactly one year out from the 2020 election and Tyler and Larry discuss the politics of impeachment with a particular focus on the electoral implications for each party’s congressional candidates. Impeachment is now a certainty but it seems almost as certain that Trump will not be removed from office. The Filibluster crew focuses in on what kinds of things could lead senators on either side of the aisle to break ranks on conviction and we name the most likely defectors. Tyler and Larry then talk about the four categories of Democratic presidential candidates – those who have dropped out, the front-runners, those who could still break into the top tier, and … those who should drop out.
